To the delight of the participants and the organizers, the predictions of bad weather were not justified and the second round of the Cape Kaliakra Open golf tournament ended with a disputed game and excellent results. The competition is held in three rounds of the Lighthouse, BlackSeaRama and Thracian Cliffs near Kavarna. Before the final round of Sunday in the division with the lowest handicaps, Peter Stratiev kept his leadership from the first day and is heading the rankings with 82 points. Second is the Romanian – Bayas Vasilica, and third with 79 points is the young Bulgarian – Dimitar Savov.
In women’s rakings, the 11-year-old Riveka Nadilhan again showed a stable game as in the first round and continues to lead with a score of 80 points. Her runners-up in the standings are Catalina Jigman with 79 and Miroslava Mihaylova with 75 points.
The competition is organized jointly by the Kaliakra Golf Foundation and the Bulgarian Golf Association.
